Yoga for everyone

All of the classes are suitable for all levels. From complete beginner to more experienced practitioners. The main aim of this style of yoga is to focus on your breathing while synchronising with movement & asana (yoga postures). As each and every one of us are completely different human beings – we are all different shapes and sizes and have different strengths and abilities – the idea of the “perfect pose” does not exist. The perfect posture is when YOUR body –  ANY BODY – does the posture and focuses on a deep inhalation and a deep exhalation. The BREATH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF YOGA.  If you are not focusing on your breathing, you are not doing yoga… you are just making silly shapes with your body!!!

Please come along to class and all will be clear when you actually do it.

Having come to ashtanga yoga from the ‘wrong’ side of 55, I have been amazed at the flexibility and sense of well-being I have gained through regular practice I could not have achieved this without Dave’s skilful guidance, patience and encouragement. Every lesson with Dave is like a new adventure. He always makes the lessons interesting and pitches the level of challenge so that at the end of the lesson, I always feel I have achieved more than I considered I was capable of.
